Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku and Minister Albana Koçiu Present Pension Improvement Plan to Lushnja Retirees

The government’s new strategy to improve the pension system was unveiled at the meeting, which was held at the Day Center for the Elderly.

Both Minister Koçiu and Deputy Prime Minister Balluku emphasized that this plan is an important step in improving the quality of life of the elderly and will guarantee continuous and sustainable support for all pensioners in the country.

In addition, the Health Minister pointed out that the laws on social services for the elderly have expanded the scope of services by providing socio-health services at home through the Social Fund, community social centers, and long-term care in social care facilities.

The government’s plan to improve the pension system aims to guarantee higher pensions and support for all elderly citizens, thus ensuring a more dignified life for this important segment of society.

This plan, which is part of the ambitious “Albania 2030” vision, aims to provide long-term support to the elderly by addressing their needs, such as increasing pensions and improving living conditions for retirees.
